Individuals
There are many opportunities to get involved in the Hope Center, from our daily operations to our special events. If any of the descriptions calls to you please contact us at (830)980-HOPE (4673)

 

Client Advocate:

Advocates will work along side, and on behalf of clients to break the cycle of dependency and resolve needs.

 

Clothes Closet Representative:

This volunteer sorts clothing items, identifies placement of articles, properly logs donations, and assists clients at time of distribution.

 

Electronics Tester:

This volunteer will examine electrical devices for operational status, including toys, radios, game systems, and appliances.

 

Food Pantry Representative:

The pantry volunteer evaluates donations, identifies proper storage, logs donations, and assists clients at time of distribution.

 

Special Events Coordinators:

 

Christmas Party Coordinator:

This Coordinator will be responsible for planning, inviting clients, gathering donations, and orchestrating event.

 

Garage Sale Coordinator:

This Coordinator will be responsible for planning, advertising, and orchestrating the Garage Sale while properly representing the Hope Center.

 

Silent Auction Coordinator:

The Auction Coordinator is responsible for planning dinner, locating sponsors, collecting donations, and orchestrating the auction responsibly.
